Friday we packed up the car grabbed Jeremy's brother Daniel & headed to Goblin to meet up with Danny & Brooke. Little did we know that an otherwise 3.5 hr car ride would turn into 6!! We left at 3 & finally got to camp a little before 9 what took so long, rush hour traffic and pit stops. So much for playing with Brooke & Danny!
We got up at 6:40 Saturday morning & hiked Bell Canyon because it doesn't have slot canyons which would have been more difficult with Lily!

Most of the rock is sandstone, on occasion there would be dark lines through the sandstone, well in this particular dark spot were these crystals it was so pretty!
After Bell we took a quick snooze & then walked around Goblin (Daniel stayed in the car crazy kid!)

I think it is awesome you guys get out of the everyday routine and go out! Lily is a ray of sunshine anywhere even on ugly cloudy days! Looks like a blast! Made me smile looking through your pics..
That looks like so much fun! I've never been to Goblin Valley before--we'll have to try it! Lily looks like she had a great time!
