Our original plans were to stay in Island Park & just enjoy the beauty there, but then we were invited to breakfast & decided to jump in a van & go into the park with everyone else.
I think this is the first pic we've ever gotten of "the sign"
Lily stole GG Farm's ice cream (we made her give it back & we got another one at fishing bridge)
We went to Old Faithful & waited around for an hour just so we could miss it :) (oops) so our van took off (we'd all seen it before) & headed to Yellowstone Lake where we picnicked & stayed for the rest of the day.
Mom thought for SURE the water would be too cold & Chi wouldn't get in it like he did at Bear Lake (boy was I wrong!) The lake was warm, not too windy, sandy, weed/tree free, just perfect!!

Lily & Gus building a sand castle. Gus LOVED digging in the sand & would growl at the water it was SOOOO funny.
